Who Should Receive Notices of Liability

Under the Higher Education Funding Act, institutions are legally required to provide a notice of liability to all students undertaking a designated course of study pre-2005.  Notices are not required for International Students, students enrolled in enabling courses, or domestic fee-paying students (although UWA has opted to provide notices to the later group).
Notices are issued electronically on the Student Access web page, and students are notified via e-mail, unless a "Request for Hardcopy Documents" has been lodged at Student Administration (Hackett Hall).
