Student Administration

Re-commencing an Incomplete Degree

If you:

  • have not re-enrolled and have not been granted Approved Leave (enrolment has Lapsed), or
  • have withdrawn from all units and have not been granted Approved Leave (enrolment has been Discontinued),

you have effectively lost your place at UWA, and you need to apply for re-admission before you will be able to enrol again.

If re-admission is approved, you will be required to pay student contribution amounts or tuition fees applicable for commencing students in that particular year.

Continuing your Discontinued/Lapsed Course

If you wish to continue your course, you should check with your faculty office to see if you still have time to complete your degree within the official time limit for the course.

Domestic Undergraduate Students
Once you have confirmed that you will be able to complete your degree within the time limit, you will need to make an application for re-admission.

Domestic Postgraduate Students
If you have an incomplete postgraduate course by coursework- click here for further guidance.

International Students
International undergraduate and postgraduate students are required to apply for re-admission via the International centre and can email international@uwa.edu.au for further information on applying for re-admission.

Higher Degree by Research
Higher Degree by Research students should contact the relevant department who manages their course. Students completing pure research courses should contact the Graduate Research and Scholarships Office and students studying courses by Thesis and Coursework should contact their Faculty.
