What if you wish to withdraw totally?

You should discuss your intention to withdraw from your course with the Faculty Administrative Officer/Sub-Dean of your Faculty as, in extenuating circumstances other options may be available rather than a total withdrawal. You might also consider applying for Approved Leave

Students who withdraw from their course must apply for re-admission should they wish to return to UWA at a later date.  Click here to learn more.

However, if you still wish to withdraw after reviewing your options, you will be required to complete a hardcopy Change of Enrolment form at the Enquiry Counter, Student Administration (Hackett Hall) or mail/fax a written and signed change of enrolment letter requesting the total withdrawal from your course to Student Administration.  Please ensure that you state your full namestudent ID and sign the letter.

Combined degree students: You should be aware that you may have the option of transferring into a single degree, and you should contact the relevant Faculty Administrative Officer to discuss this option.

International students: You must contact the International Students Centre to discuss the implications of fees, visa requirements, etc if you intend to or have withdrawn.

Medicine and Dentistry students: You must contact the Faculty Administrative Officer immediately on withdrawing from either the MBBS or BDSc course.

Postgraduate students: You may have the option of suspension from your course, rather than a total withdrawal, and you should contact your Faculty Administrative Officer or the Graduate Research School and Scholarships Office (whichever is responsible for your course) for further information.
